Factory Based Technical Assistant

An exciting and varied opportunity has arisen for a methodical and analytical Factory Based Technical Assistant to join a flourishing Food Manufacturer in East Yorkshire.

THE ROLE
To provide assistance to on-line Quality Controllers and ensure quality and safety standards of branded and own label products by efficient utilisation of all available resources. The main duties of the role will include:

*Collating daily traceability packs for packed products
*Collating and checking completed verification documentation
*Filing and archiving completed QM documentation to ensure easy and quick retrieval of documents
*Supporting the on-line Retail Quality Controller
*Providing assistance with all other Quality Control functions as and when required

The normal working hours for this role is 45 hours per year. The salary for this role is from £26,000per year.

THE CANDIDATE
This role will suit a flexible, well organised candidate with previous experience of working within a Quality and/or a Technical capacity, ideally within Food Manufacturing. The following skills and experience are required:

*Ability to communicate at all levels effectively and build good interpersonal relationships
*Basic understanding of food safety
*Good attention to detail
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*Good documentary administration ability
*Strong attention to detail
*Professional approach to the workplace
*GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths
