Salary: £42,000 – £52,800 per year
Our client based in Lincolnshire is a grower and packer of speciality fresh vegetables and one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of fresh produce.
They are now seeking a Customer Technical Manager to join their dynamic and ambitious team that prides itself on delivering superb quality and outstanding customer service.
The role provides a great opportunity to develop your career with a variety of products and retail customers.
You’ll be a key contact with customers and growers and will be responsible for managing all aspects of food safety, customer relationships and new product development.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be tasked with setting and maintaining standards of safety, quality and trust to protect and enhance brand integrity and will be responsible for ensuring products, systems and procedures are compliant with customers’ Code of Practice.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in a customer-focussed technical role within the produce sector and be passionate about maintaining a high standard of environmental, ethical and sustainability responsibility.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, and you will feel comfortable conducting supplier ethical audits and reporting KPIs. You will also be able to demonstrate leadership acumen and be comfortable making key decisions in isolation.
Remuneration
The position offers a competitive salary (dependent on experience), car allowance or company car (hybrid or electric only), holiday entitlement of 25 days plus 8 public holidays, contributory pension scheme, private health, and an option to join the group Share Incentive Scheme.
The role is office based although occasional UK travel should be expected. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
