A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join a reputable FM provider in one of their most prolific branches.

The Role
The Facilities Maintenance Operative will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair work across a wide variety of contracts that range from commercial offices to transport hubs, and from retail sites to healthcare sites.
The work will include all aspects of basic facilities / building / fabric maintenance and repairs, and will include aspects from a multitude of trades including plastering, joinery, tiling, floor laying, replacing ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, painting etc. throughout commercial premises.
The majority of work will be in and around Leeds, with occasional work stretching to the wider West Yorkshire area.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
* Possess a trade qualification / undergone a trade apprenticeship in any of the following: Joinery, Painting & decorating, Plastering, Plumbing or similar facilities maintenance trade
* Have strong skills in other trades to include plastering, joinery, tiling, floor laying, replacing ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, painting
* Have previously worked in commercial premises in a maintenance role
Desirable:
* Holding qualifications for an additional trade
* Have previous experience of working for an FM provider
* Additional related qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights, etc.
