Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Operative

An exciting full time opportunity has arisen to join our small and friendly team as a Grounds and Gardens Maintenance Operative based at our site in Swinderby.
About The Job:
The successful applicant will be responsible for the up keep of all companies’ sites based around Lincoln and surrounding areas. Applicants will be self-motivated, personable and enthusiastic with a professional attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team and independently using their own initiative. Given the nature of the business, there is an expectation that you will approach the role with sensitivity at all times whilst on site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grass cutting
• Strimming
• Maintenance of shrubs and beds, including pruning
• Involvement in planting schemes
• Hedge cutting
• Fencing and paving work
• Attendance of meetings, training courses and follow up refresher courses

Essential Experience Skills & Qualifications
• PA1/6
• Full class B driving licence
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at work
• Competent use of relevant equipment – Strimmer / Hedge Cutting / Pole Saw / Grass cutting machinery including ride on lawn mowers
• Excellent time keeping, reliable and effective communicator at all levels
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Class C driving licence – Desirable
Remuneration Package
The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package that will consist of a basic Salary: £26,000per year as well as comprehensive training and other company benefits such as; Pension, Life Assurance, Child Care Voucher Scheme and not to forget our Stunning Work Locations.
