Facilities Co-Ordinator – Mansfield (PERMANENT POSITION) 

Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the area’s leading financial institutions to recruit for an experienced Facilities Co-Ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. 

Based from Mansfield, this role will be based from the Company’s Head Office based in Mansfield Town Centre, but will include some local travel therefore a full UK driving licence is required. 

As a Facilities Co-Ordinator, you will oversee building-related activities with responsibility for ensuring the good condition of the businesses infrastructure, allowing colleagues to work in a safe and secure environment using well-functioning facilities in premises that meet Health & Safety and Energy Efficiency standards.

This includes, but is not limited to, maintenance issues and managing equipment for the sites. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Follow and maintain the businesses Facilities Schedule, ensuring tasks and works are completed as and when required 
  • Inspection of building structions to determine the need for repairs and renovations 
  • Manage and oversee contracts and/or agreements relating to business premises as and when required 
  • Make deliveries to branches and third parties, as and when required 
  • Manage and oversee the collection and destruction of confidential waste, trade waste (including recycling), and completion of the appropriate Waste Transfer Notices 
  • Ensure that retained documentation are adequately controlled and maintained to high standard, following GDPR principles 
  • Carry out any Health and Safety checks as required, ensuring necessary action is taken in line applicable regulation 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a facilities or contracts management role. You will hold a full clean driving licence, and will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications. 

You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation along with GDPR and you will have an awareness of the challenges affecting SMEs and businesses operating within regulated sectors. 

The ideal candidate will be organised, with excellent time keeping, methodical and patient and will be able to work proactively to adapt to new and changing situations. 

HOURS OF WORK 

Core hours of work shall be 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility required.
