Salary: £43,200 – £48,000 per year
Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Façade Designer for our client who is a specialist contractor that works within the curtain walling & building facades sector.
The most suitable candidate will have great customer service experience capabilities as they will be working closely alongside clients to discuss technical queries and cost-effective design proposals via telephone and email.
You will need to be highly proficient in AutoCAD.
The job role of a Façade Designer involves the following duties:
* Produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposals
* Have a good eye for detail and accuracy
* Be able to work diligently on their own and within a well-established design team
* Be able to confidently read and understand Technical drawings
* Answer technical design queries from client, the company’s sales team & installers.
* Attend internal and external meetings to discuss client requirements
* Previous work experience of using AutoCAD (essential) and REVIT (desirable)
* Knowledge of curtain walling, window, door & Structural Glazing design (essential)
* Good understanding of building construction, methods & regulations (essential)
* Previous experience working with clients and architects via telephone and email
* Minimum of 2-3 Years’ Experience in Façade Design
