A cutting-edge fashion company based in Central London is currently recruiting for a Women’s Outerwear Designer with trendy, feminine handwriting to join their head office team.

As an Outerwear Designer you will be responsible for creating on-trend women’s outerwear designs keeping inline with their customer’s brief, you will work closely with the sales team to attend design/development meetings with premium high street retail buyers. Attending Far East factory meetings, inspirational trips, comp shops, fashion shows and trade shows when necessary. You will be a valued part of the design team reporting directly to Sales & Design Manager.

The ideal applicant must have previous Women’s Outerwear Design skills working for a fashion brand, high street retailer or fashion supplier. Possessing exceptional experience designing trendy yet commercial outerwear designs with strong research and trend awareness skills. You must have previous experience working with Far East factories and have strong knowledge of garment construction and managing the development process. It is essential you have excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills with strong CAD and I.T skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
