South West London

We are currently working with an FE college in the South West London area, who are currently looking for a Fabrication Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be asked to join the training provider’s Engineering education team, and will help them to train on the Fabrication-related modules on a range of Engineering courses (up to level 3) at their training centre. All of the training would take place in their on-site Engineering workshop.

The starting salary for this position will be between £26,000 and £26,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a teacher’s pension, and a generous holiday allowance.

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A relevant level 3 vocational qualification
-A strong fabrication background from industry

Please bear in mind that while the college would prefer to take someone on who already has a teaching qualification, they would definitely accept applications from skilled Fabricators who don’t already have a teaching qualification, as they would be able to put you through this at the college.

Please feel free to pass on my details if you know someone who might be interested.
