Experinced Desktop Publisher

Our client is seeking a experinced person to work as onsite Desk Top Publishier for a large Bank carrying out work for the Global Markets and Investment Banking departments.

Generating high quality presentation work, using the clients’ PowerPoint and Word templates as and when required.

Taking ownership and responsibility for the work they produce in terms of the final product e.g. consistency, accuracy and quality and ensuring that a high level of customer service is achieved at all times and that the client is communicated to at an appropriate level and appropriate frequency

Obtain detailed briefs from the client and estimate the time required to complete the job accordingly
Maintain and police the use of approved templates, according to brand guidelines and Standard Bank instructions
Maintain and manage the archiving of digital assets including logos, graphics and images
Take ownership for client enquiries, seeking guidance from/escalating to, DTP Supervisor as appropriate
Dealing with clients both in person and on the phone in a courteous and positive manner
May include some design work including producing invitations, posters, leaflets and flyers
Assisting with workflow management
Record the work throughout using agreed tools and template for us in the compilation for month-end

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 packages, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of Pitchbook and OnScreen documentation

It would also be beneficial if you have used Adobe Creative Suite
