An Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school primary school is looking for a Key Stage 1 teacher to join them as soon as possible until July on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will be teaching at this two form entry school in one of the Year 1 classes.

Person Specification:
You should have great track record of good to outstanding teaching during your PGCE. You should be a committed, confident practitioner with a real talent for delivering creative and engaging lessons and the drive to become an ‘Outstanding’ teacher.

This multicultural Primary School, located in the popular London borough of Bethnal Green is accessible by rail from most of London and caters for students aged 3 -11. The curriculum promotes spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and prepares pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.

Essential Qualities:
– A PGCE in Primary Education or equivalent qualification.
– QTS
– An optimistic personality.
– A proven track record of raising attainment in a UK Classroom.
– Valid Police Clearance and UK DBS or willing to attain one upon registration.

Key responsibilities will include:
– Planning & delivering lessons across the curriculum to Year 5 students.
– Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning.
– Assessing & reviewing student development.
– Utilising modern technology in the classroom.
– Motivating students to achieve their full potential & engage in extracurricular activities
