Experienced Invoice Clerk

We have an exclusive permanent opportunity for an Invoice Clerk to join a successful and growing company based in Birmingham.

As part of the accounts team, you will play a vital role in ensuring invoices issued on time. With exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach, you will be processing invoices and credit notes to customers on a daily basis, this will involve you working extensively with Excel to maintain spreadsheets with up to the minute data. Working under pressure to tight deadlines will be second nature to you!

will oversee and produce sales invoice documentation and provide any other ad hoc support that may be required for your team, such as arranging meetings and responding to e-mails.

With exceptional customer service skills and an immediately warm and engaging telephone manner you will be liaising with customers to process payments by cheque and credit card as well as allocating payments directly to our client’s bank accounts. With accuracy and attention to detail required at all times, alongside an organised and methodical approach, you will have experience of the daily use of an accounts package such as Sage or SAP.
