Salary: £84,000 – £108,000 per year
An international client is looking to appoint a European Finance Director who will assume responsibility for the creation and development of the business financial strategy for both the UK and European markets. Forming part of the senior management team you will play a fundamental role in developing future growth, providing a clear vision and direction for the leaderships team as necessary.
European Finance Director – About the Role
You will be working for an international branded business, taking a significant lead for the UK & European arm of this business. You will work in collaboration with the leadership enabling development of the business strategies with a strong focus on the financial matrix for the business.
This position will provide the successful individual a vast and varied position with a strong commercial focus to the wider business.
In addition to the commercial focus of this position you will of course be overseeing the finance function, ensuring efficient budgeting & forecasting and long term financial strategic planning.
The successful European Finance Director will have:
* ACA or ACCA qualification – ideally with a background in Audit / Practice
* Full understanding of complex P & L including consolidation
* Written and verbal communication in both Japanese and English
* Proven experience and ability of enabling changing at a commercial level
