Salary: £26,000 – £27,600 per year
Our client a third party financial services company based in Brentwood are urgently seeking a Senior Associate to work within the =Funds Department specifically the european finance team. You will have an excellent understanding of platforms and cash management and be able to process payments accordingly.
Main purpose of role:
To complete the Reporting and Control daily processes in line with the service level agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the reporting & control team.
P&L Investigation
FX Processing
Daily and Month End Reporting
Regulatory Reporting
Treasury Monitoring
Bank Credit Facility Management
System Access Monitoring
To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Regulatory:
To exercise due care and diligence, ensuring the areas the role is responsible for are organised and controlled.
To uphold responsibilities for risk and business continuity practices as appropriate to the position the role holds within the organisation.
To comply with the regulatory regimes in which our client operates, with particular consideration given to relevant Client Asset, Data Protection and Financial Crime Prevention regulations, as appropriate to the above role.
To attend Client Asset training. Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with established Client Asset procedures & controls, and that any changes to activities are considered for Client Asset implications.
To escalate issues or potential breaches to Line Manager, to enable consideration for Client Asset implications.
To provide input regarding the effectiveness and design of Client Asset procedures, controls and MI, including contributing to the annual review of procedures.

Specific knowledge, skills and qualifications needed to achieve required performance standards in a role.
Experience Preferred:
Good keyboard skills to include awareness of MS Office packages.
Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills.
Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Good accuracy and attention to details
Experience in Financial Services Investment Industry.
Ability to work on own initiative when required (Preferred)
Demonstrate an understanding of responsibilities within the Financial Services Industry.
Detailed knowledge of FX, Settlement Platforms (Euroclear/Clearstream/CREST), SWIFT, Securities processing, cash management
Knowledge of FCA regulatory environment
