Estimator

Salary: £36,000 per year

We are recruiting for an Estimator who is living within commuting distance of Northampton on behalf of a market leading company with a wide customer base across the UK.

You will need to be an Estimator with:

• A good awareness of the estimating process.
• Knowledge of minor civils and groundworks.
• The ability to interpret and quantify design plans to work out all associated costs to enable the Sales Team to accurately quote for projects.
• A high level of IT proficiency and in particular experience in using Excel.
• Excellent organisational, project planning and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines.

Useful to have experience includes:

• Experience gained from the construction, play or landscaping sectors.

Working closely with both the Design and Sales Teams you will be accurately costing for construction projects within the Housebuilder, Local Authority and Education Sectors.

On offer is salary of around £36,000which is negotiable based on experience and the opportunity to join a well-established and growing company taking on responsibility for this key part of business growth plans ensuring that projects are costed correctly and are aligned to profit expectations.
