I am currently looking for an Environmental H&S Advisor to drive the EH&S culture within the organisation

Reporting to the EH&S Manager, you will be capable of engaging with all employees in the company in order to provide support and direction on EH&S matters.

Principle Accountabilities

* Your role will focus on supporting the business in the pursuit of Health & Safety excellence through process improvements within the function.
* Involvement and lead on EHS projects
* To carry out EHS monitoring, inspections and audits.
* Take part and lead in incident investigations
* To take an active part in site Inductions, including employees and contractors
* To develop & deliver the EH&S training and development plan for the site
* To provide assistance in the review of contractor documentation (e.g. RAMs)
* Assistance in the upkeep of the safety and management systems
* General Admin functions for the dept.
* To deputise for the EHS Manager as and when needed

With a recognised EHS qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent, you will have experience of operating within a manufacturing environment within an EHS function or with EH&S responsibilities linked to your role

You will have membership of IOSH with a passion for EH&S and will be looking to continue your own development in the area, along with experience of designing & delivering training and working within safety and environmental management systems
