Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
Our client, an operator is looking for an Environmental Advisor for a 6 month contract position, located in Aberdeen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide timely advice to the business on applicable environmental legislation and permit requirements, timing and notifications.
* Familiar with OCR, OPPC, PPC and other key Offshore Oil and Gas Legislation.
* Attend project kick-off meetings and identify permitry requirements from project briefs.
* Provide environmental permit application support to offshore operations, including production assets, wells and subsea campaigns and decommissioning activities.
* Review permit applications prepared by consultants and the coordination of the supporting consultant team.
* Preparation and submission of permit applications (MATs and SATs) within the BEIS Environmental Portal.
* Presenting permit conditions via permit roll-out sessions to well engineers and company representatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Good experience with production and well campaign permit applications is essential
