Environmental Assurance and Risk Engineer

Description

The successful candidate will be working in the Safety Assurance Team, based in Glasgow (city centre office). At times UK and international travel will be required.

Knowledge & Understanding of the following:

Experience in some or all of the following would be beneficial in the Nuclear, Oil and Gas or Other High Hazard industry:

· HAZOP/SIL /LOPA Facilitator

· FMEA and FMECA

· FTA/ETA

· Human Factors

· PSA

· EIA

· BAT and BPEO

· Fire and Explosion Analysis

· QRA

· Integrity Management

· Process Safety Management Reviews

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

– Degree or Equivalent in Engineering/Scientific subject
– Demonstrable experience writing safety/environmental assurance documents including the supporting analysis documents, experience generating such documents with a modern standards construct would be most beneficial
– Experience updating and revising safety/environmental assurance and design substantiation documents
– Excellent report-writing skills
– Interest in working in a Consultancy environment
