The Role
You will lead an accomplished team who have a strong working knowledge of the business and its current processes. Your initial job will be to take a step back, look at the current processes and stores system and work on direct ways to improve it. With the business expecting lots more additional inventory you will be expected to set up and drive a fresh system and introduce the team to it. From a hands on perspective you will be responsible for shipping, picking and receiving – ensuring your team are equally competent in all areas of the business.

The Person
As a person you will have experience of setting up and driving a new Engineering Stores, or have experience of overhaul of an existing system. You will have good engineering knowledge and be capable of assessing parts at a glance and either distributing to the team or putting in its stock location. You may have experience of working with multiple sites and understanding best practice throughout multiple store systems although your ability to develop existing systems is what will separate you from the competition.
