Engineering Project Lead

Salary: £54,000 – £64,800 per year

Engineering Project Lead required for ambitious South Coast company. If you are looking to take your team lead skills to the next level this may be the role for you.

My client is an growing and fast paced company approaching the next years with aggressive growth plans – both in terms of the company and its people. A like-minded Engineer is needed to head up a new team focussed on the delivery of complex projects.

The company deliver technically challenging systems including mechanical components and housings and specialist customer focussed IT and computer equipment. Often Supplying into Defence, Automotive, Aerospace and other quality led sector you will be responsible for the overall delivery of projects and overseeing your teams output and influencing best practice in your department.

You will likely be a strong Mechanical Engineer (Design and Analysis) and be looking to push into a leadership role. Your team of 5 includes 2 technical project managers and you will also have a strong skill set managing stakeholders (internal and external) probably using MS Project or similar. You will be enthused and driven by personal and team challenge.

Likely qualified to Degree level in an Engineering Subject you will understand the nuances of delivering to tight deadlines for small to medium projects.
