Employment Advisor – Young People

Would you like to work with young people across London to guide them towards the next steps of their lives towards employment or education? You will become qualified in the sought after level 4 in Careers Advice and Guidance certification. To apply, you need to be able to demonstrate:

– Experience of working with NEETs and being able to genuinely empathise and engage with them
– A pro-active attitude, and able to work to targets
– Not shy to engage with young people in the community and promote this careers and guidance service (the contract receives no referrals, so you have to source your own)
– A background in delivering advice and guidance around employment / education

You will work across 3? 4 adjacent London Boroughs, choosing a hub office within these as your base, as you deliver careers advice and guidance, whilst engaging with young people to ensure you have an ample caseload size.

We are currently recruiting for West London (Barnet, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Harrow & Brent), South London (Bexley, Bromley & Croydon) and North & East London (Barking and Dagenham, Enfield, Hackney, Havering, Redbridge and Newham). As this is a new contract, the first few months will be heavily weighted towards sourcing referrals and building up your caseload.
