Salary: £66,000 – £84,000 per year
Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a design consultancy that is hiring for an embedded software engineer to join either their Bristol, or Cheltenham office. As a company, they develop advanced, specialized low-power solutions for customers in a variety of industries including smart home/city, medical, agriculture, AI/AR, etc.
Recent growth in the business means they’re looking at taking on another embedded software engineer to join them and get stuck into a variety of low-power, IoT-based projects.
The ideal embedded software engineer has a few years of industry experience, enjoys working on challenging projects, solving difficult problems and can work both independently and as part of a team for larger projects.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of embedded architecture & software design,
Strong experience with programming in C for embedded platforms (Linux / RTOS),
Experience working with microcontrollers at low level.

For the right embedded software engineer, there is flexibility around working hours, hybrid working (with scope for more remote working down the line), and an opportunity for an embedded software engineer to grow with the company and eventually take on more of a lead role.
