Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year
An Embedded Software Engineer with proven C programming skills and good knowledge of Device Drivers will join the Berkshire team of a Global manufacturer of single board computer products. Hybrid working available, a generous salary and relocation assistance on offer.
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of UEFI BIOS, Board Support Packages as well as middleware, system and device driver software for Linux, VxWorks or similar. As the majority of devices used are complex, you should bring a good understanding of hardware.
Key Skills should include:
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming for x86, PowerPC or high performance ARM processors.
- Practical experience programming a variety of hardware at register level.
- Working on Device Drivers.
- Linux, Windows, VxWorks or similar standard operating systems.
- Great o see experience of developing UEFI BIOS.
- Good team player and excellent communication skills.
