My client is looking for an experienced Email Coordinator to manage all of their email delivery and all associated activity across the UK affiliate. This is a key position for a professional with knowledge of not only the technical side of email marketing but also has the capability to influence the marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee implementation of email campaigns, delivery execution and analytics across multiple therapy areas.
• Works cross functionally with agencies, brand teams and IT teams to build and manage email programmes.
• Works with privacy and data stewards to manage and update contact databases.
• Provides monthly reporting on brand marketing campaigns – websites, emails etc.
• Identify patterns in data from digital campaigns and proactively recommends opportunities.
• Represents the digital team at key marketing meetings as the subject matter expert on email.
• Works with UK Digital Lead to build email as a strong capability & to help understand its role in a multi-channel environment.

Essential Attributes
• Knowledge of Pharma or related industry would be useful
• Ability to analyse and review data from multiple sources – strong interest in data analytics, or previous experience with statistics is required. Knowledge of back end tracking systems such as webtrends/Omniture etc. is essential.
• Good Knowledge of technical email production for example: email design best practice, HTML, CSS, mobile optimisation, testing workflows
• Excellent knowledge of working with email platforms, experience of RightNOW and Exact Target would be preferable
• Strong presentation, written and verbal skills, good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint is required
• Demonstrate ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate subject matter expertise on email and how it can be best used
• Experience of using email as part of an overall testing strategy e.g. creative and content testing.
• Ability to problem solve and offer appropriate solutions
• Strong team player with an ability to work with multiple stakeholders
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
