FW Tech Services are currently recruiting a Group Technical Engineer for an exceptionally successful group having world wide operations and this day continues to be family run therefore ensuring valuing staff remains constant.
Ideal candidate would have knowledge of cold roll steel manufacturing
Overall role objective:
·To design and develop equipment that will ensure our client a more efficient, productive and profit making company with set quality and safety standards.
·The role will also include designing and programming of new equipment.
Duties and responsibilities
·Design tooling and equipment to meet company Industries requirements and standards in the allotted time
·Maintain finished tool drawing deliveries to suit Tool Room lead times so products are produced at required delivery time
·Train others, when required to carry out similar duties
·Ensure sub-contractors, plant, equipment and work standard meets requirements
·Oversee production of parts and tools
·Purchase parts to company standards at the most competitive price
·Attend and assist at unit, and product-design meetings.
