The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate Company that manufactures minimal invasive next-generation robotic-assisted medical devices that are at the forefront of how surgical procedures are carried out. An award-winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of millions of patients all around the world. 

Due to sustained continued expansion they now require an Electronics Engineer to assist with the design, develop, test and improve highly integrated PCBs and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies to ensure functional requirements are satisfied.

Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Capturing schematics and guide the PCB layout process to ensure new and updated designs meet mechanical and regulatory constraints.
• Writing documentation for requirements, design and manufacturing test specifications and risk assessment for new test processes.
• Debugging issues at PCB and system level and write technical documents to support findings
• Providing mentoring to junior members of the team.
• Working at all stages of the design cycle from concept and requirements capture through to transferring the design to manufacture.

The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:

• A HNC /HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
• Solid experience of Electronics Product Design (Analog / Digital Design) / Embedded Microprocessor & Software Design / PCB Layout Design
• Experience of designing complex FPGAs and testbenches using Verilog/VHDL
• Familiarity with designing for medical and safety compliance Desirable (not essential):
