Salary: £28,800 – £44,400 per year
We are currently recruiting for a R & D Electronic Design Engineer to work on continued development of ATEX and industrial lighting solutions.Applicants must be degree qualified with circuit drawing and solids work experience.This is a permanent position based in Aberdeen.
Duties will include but not be limited to:-
PCB design and evaluation for circuitry for lights and lighting products
Design work carried out with respect to EX standards.
Design work carried out with respect to BS standards and harmonised union directives.
Design work carried out with respect to global civil aviation procedures (CAP) for lighting equipment.
Product development of industrial and hazardous area lighting along with accessories.
Working and liaising with third party notified bodies and test facilities.
Development of Gerber files, certification drawings and procedural drawings working in with the production and operations team. Falling in line with the companies ISO 9001 and ISO 80079 management systems.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Recent graduates will be considered.
