Salary: £33,600 – £39,000 per year
Our client is an international Science & Innovation provider and they currently have vacancies for Electrical Design Engineers at their research centre based in Oxfordshire.
You will have a Degree, HND or HNC in an appropriate Electrical Engineering discipline and proven skills in producing electrical design engineering solutions. This will include low voltage distribution design (230V/400V), cable calculation & containment design, EMI/RFI mitigation; AC/DC power conversion, relay & PLC based control systems, panel and chassis design, network installations and motion control systems.
You are expected to have experience of cabling and general electrical manufacturing & installation techniques, competent in the use of AutoCAD, fully conversant with electrical circuit diagrams & 2D drawings, design of risk assessments & installation method statements with a good working knowledge of British and European standards.
