Electrician – Maintenance

£28,800 – £30,000 PA (£12PH)+ Van and fuel card (time & half after 45 hrs per week)

Summary of the role

To be responsible for carrying out any duties within your capability as required to support estate delivery focusing on, but not limited to, electrical maintenance.

To ensure that the domestic estate are fit for purpose in accordance with the allocation and ensure compliance with service modules e.g. asset maintenance, electrical repairs and testing, housekeeping, preventative maintenance, stock management, hard fm, inspections and fault analysis, work in potentially hazardous environments (e.g. heights or confined spaces).

To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. asset users (including tenants), the Employers representatives and contractors regarding faults and solutions.

To complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.

To carry out additional works in response to additional contract requirements (Fee earning)

Maintain competence, skills and abilities within the electrical discipline

To ensure that the Domestic Facilities are fit for purpose in compliance with the service modules.

You must hold a Full driving licence valid in the United Kingdom

Knowledge of electrics gained through the completion of City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition IE Regulations and City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing supported by relevant experience

Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Experience of communicating with customers.
