Electrician

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Electrician based in Caerphilly, South Wales. The successful candidate will earn £36,000 – £48,000 + per annum.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role and be able to work safely to a high standard with limited supervision.

The candidate will have a good knowledge of testing, regulations, commercial and industrial installs. Also experience with solar and EV charging is desirable but not essential.

Role Requirements

Full driving license.
Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent with at least five years’ experience working as an electrician.
Qualified to C&G 2391 – Electrical inspection and testing.
Must have a certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition.
Excellent organisational skills/time management/able to work to deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
Basic IT skills (for reports and certification).
Able to work at heights of up to 12 metres.
Role Responsibilities

Carry out EICR on commercial, industrial, and possible domestic properties.
All aspects of commercial and industrial installation.
Solar installations and repairs.
ASHP installations and repairs.
Carry out electrical remedial work.
Attending servicing & repair jobs.
You will be required to travel on occasions.
