Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £56,759 per year

Due to major investment at the plant in the last 18 months, we are assisting with increasing the size of the team for this well established food manufacturers based in Crick. We are looking for an Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer with good PLC knowledge to provide both reactive & proactive maintenance to this new line.
 
Working on a Monday – Friday 3 shift rotation this role will not only technically challenge you but also provide a great work life balance!

• Monday – Friday 6-2, 2-10, 10-6 rotation.
• Basic Salary of £56,759pa.
• Shift Allowance.

The role as a multi- Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Perform reactive maintenance and tasks in line with machinery PPM schedules.
• Maintain documents ensuring they are correct and up to date.
• Assist in continuous improvement ideas and projects.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Report machinery breakdowns / PPM status for shift handover.
• Provide realistic time / cost estimates for completion of maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of spare parts and equipment.

Skills & Experience Required to become a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Time served electrical or multi-skilled apprenticeship to at least City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3, BTEC level 3.
• Experience of repairing and maintaining manufacturing/production plant & equipment.
• Fault finding and interrogation knowledge of PLCs, basic programming and testing.
• Siemens controls knowledge advantageous.
