Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

Victoria Walker at CK Group is recruiting for an Electrical & Instrument Supervisor to join a leading multinational chemical manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire, on a temporary to permanent basis. The company manufactures more than 300 different products which are used in a different range of applications. A COMAH site, the company is ready to offer a salary in the region of £36,000 – £54,000 pa depending on experience, and offers a benefits package including 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, bonus and pension scheme. This E&I Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and will manage a team consisting of Craftspeople.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor, the main purpose of your role will be to manage the site E&I team – both in house and contract.

Further responsibilities of this E&I Supervisor role will be to:
-Manage resource versus workload priorities.
-Ensure planned inspections are carried out to schedule.
-Maintain Low voltage switchgear.
-Troubleshoot
-Manage a team including appraisals, development and training.
-Comply with HSE.
-Coordination to production.
-Implement maintenance/capital projects.
-Keep technical documentation up to date.
-Develop written procedures.

As an E&I Supervisor, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-17th Edition Electrical Regulations – essential
-COMPEX awareness – essential (preferably trained & qualified)
-Supervisory experience strongly preferred
-Minimum Apprentice Trained, formal qualification preferred
-SIS/SIL aware – desirable
-IPAF – desirable
