I am currently working with a college in Essex who are looking for an electrical installations assessor to join their apprenticeship team on a full time and permanent basis.

Responsibility of the role will be to carry out onsite assessments with learners for their NVQ and prepare them for end point assessments for the City and Guilds level 3 apprenticeship qualifications. You will manage a caseload of up to 60 learners and will use an e-portfolio system. You will also teach for 1 day per week at the college.

To be eligible for this role you MUST have:

* An NVQ level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent

* An assessors award

* Experience assessing electrical installation up to level 3

* Relevant electrical industry experience

* A driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Knowledge of using OneFile or Smart Assessor e-portfolio systems would be advantageous but not essential as training can be provided for this.

The salary for this role is up to £39,600 and you will also receive 30 days holiday (plus Christmas closure), pension and mileage allowance. A laptop or mobile phone will also be provided.
