Electrical Fitter

Salary: £13.5 per hour

Our client is a complete turn-key solutions specialist in Innovative Pressure Testing Equipment for the Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Chemical and Petrochemical industries globally. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter to join the team.

You will be responsible for all electrical and instrumentation installations, testing and servicing of the company’s new or existing equipment types and products. Equipment types such as Pressure Vessels, Pressure Control Systems, Temperature Control Systems and other Special Purpose Machinery that complement the products in line with client/industry requirements. This role will include using component/assembly drawings, electrical and P&ID schematics, written specifications, inspection and testing plans, to enable complete build and validation of the equipment’s functionality.

As Electrical Fitter you will be part of a team, working alongside Mechanical Fitters, the Installations and Servicing engineers, and you will support and report to the company’s Project Engineer and other business departments as and when required.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Apprenticeship trained

* BTEC Level 4 HNC in relevant electrical / electronic engineering discipline

* Knowledge of electrical controls systems / PLC’s, servo motors, pneumatic and hydraulic components

* Relevant PLC training / qualifications

* Electrical site installation

* Industry experience in electrical panel building (preferable but not mandatory)

* Mechanical assembly experience (preferable but not mandatory)
