Electrical Estimator (building services)

Parkinson Gray Associates are the leading building services focussed Recruitment Agency serving the Yorkshire region. For over two decades, we are serviced the best MEP contractors and consultancies in our region. One of our long-standing contractor Clients has approached us to assist them with their recruiting for an Electrical Estimator.

This West Yorkshire-based business is a focussed retail contractor working with some of our Country’s leading national retailers. As an Electrical Estimator, you will join a small but tight-knit commercial team. Working with your mechanical counterparts you will be crucial to the ongoing success of the business. You will use estimation software to produce fast, accurate and competitive tenders for small to large-scale electrical contracts.

This Client has a history of allowing people the opportunity to come into the office from site, progressing their career within the office. As such we are interested in speaking to a range of Candidates for this role. You may be an experienced Electrical Estimator working for a competitor and looking to move to a Company that is going places and is able to offer you the progression you are looking for. Alternatively, you might be an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with an eye on your future progression, looking to make that all-important first move “into the office”.

If you are the latter rather than the former, in addition to your trades bases skills and qualifications, you will need to have a good general grasp of IT. Whilst it is understood that you will likely never have used estimation software you will need to learn how to do so, hence the need for a reasonable level of IT literacy. In addition, you will have a positive “can do” attitude and be willing to work hard within a fast-paced, retail-orientated, environment.
