Electrical Engineering Technical Authority

Lead the delivery of electrical engineering consultancy and projects.
· Provision of specialist technical expertise in electrical engineering to
clients.
· Proactively contribute to the management team and the direction and strategies of the business.
· Support the technical development of staff including coaching and mentoring of junior team members.
· Drive technical performance improvement – innovation, delivery, quality and customer service
· Provide senior technical support to the company sales team to develop new business opportunities and work streams.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
· Degree qualified in electrical engineering.
· Minimum of 10 years industry related experience in electrical engineering at appropriate level.
Experience of delivery within a consultancy/project delivery environment would be beneficial but technical expertise within industry is key.
· Technical experience of power engineering both high and low voltage systems.
· A proven track record of technical leadership on capital and/or revenue projects, including cost and budget control.
· Appreciation and good understanding of relevant UK, European & international standards, codes of practice and procedures.
· HSE familiarity with significant success in meeting concurrent safety and operational demands.
· Computer literate in MS Office desktop applications, company management systems and project management software.
· Hands on experience of power modelling software for systems analysis and calculations would be beneficial.
· Experience in a fee-based consultancy environment.
· Strong technical report writing skills are essential.
