We are working with an education provider in the South Yorkshire area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be asked to join the training provider’s Engineering Training team, and will help them to deliver on their Mechanical Engineering courses (up to level 3). The delivery would be a mix of classroom-based sessions on modules such as Mechanical Principles and Engineering Maths, and workshop-based teaching on manual machining. The position is a full-time, permanent role of 37 hours per week.

The starting salary for this position will be between £33,600 and £37,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience). The package would also include a teacher’s pension, and 55 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-a level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
-Experience of manual machining
-Excellent knowledge of Mechanical Principles and Engineering Maths
-some experience of delivering Mechanical Engineering training
