Salary: £42,452 – £44,852 per year
Our client is a very established and expanding manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
The successful candidate will work at our client’s busy manufacturing plant in Stafford.
The successful applicant will join the busy maintenance team to perform electrical maintenance and repair duties.
The Role:
Reporting to and with instruction from the site electrical engineer, you will be required to undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance on a wide range of plant, machinery and site facilities.
We are seeking candidates who have some previous experience in maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment but interested in expanding their knowledge base.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
Predominantly sockets, lighting, armoured cable repair and install
3-phase electrical fault find and repair
Electrical maintenance / repair of a wide range of machinery including conveyors, crushers, screens, furnaces, and much more
Ideal opportunity to learn electrical controls for hydraulic & pneumatic machinery
Distribution boards /panels wiring, repair etc
Basic fault find and repair of motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays etc
Electrical PPM Candidates:
The successful candidate will be a qualified electrical installer with excellent fault find and repair skills.
You will hold formal electrical engineering qualification e.g. 17th /18th Edition certification or minimum NVQ level 3.
Previous work experience in heavy industry manufacturing environment such as foundry, recycling or quarry and aggregates sectors would be an advantage however all applicants with necessary skills will be considered.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday (Days) with occasional call outs.
