Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)
Location: London, United Kingdom
Rota: Monday to Friday – (Option of working, 7-4, 8-5 or 10-9)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary Range: £36,000 to £45,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Day Electrical maintenance Engineer with at least 3 years experience within commercial building services. You will be responsible for maintaining commercial buildings such as; Offices, Research centres, Retail stores, Education sites , Museums or Hospitals
Main Duties:
- You will be responsible for daily PPM’s and routine maintenance is carried out in a timely manner
- You will be responsible for reactive maintenance throughout the sites and you will be expected to correctly log all jobs.
- On a daily basis you will be working within plant rooms and carrying out routine maintenance
- You will be expected to be able to carry out work as a long engineer, but also working within a team when necessary
- You will be carrying out testing, inspection and repairs on electrical equipment
- You will be carrying out standard electrical tasks such as; changing lights, maintenance on fuse boards, sockets etc.

What we expect from you:
- Fully qualified (18th edition, NVQ level 2 and 3 in electrical installation) – essential
- You will hold your City & Guilds 2391 testing and inspection certificates – desirable
- Apprenticeship trained – essential
- At least 3 years experience carrying out building services maintenance in a commercial environment – essential
- To participate in a potential call out rota – desirable
- Experience liaising with sub contractors would be advantageous
