Salary: £60 per hour
We are now recruiting for an Electrical Engineer for a long term contract role, working for an international engineering contractor based in Surrey. They are looking for a Specialist OHL Engineer to join their team on a part time basis, working from their head office but with some level of home working as agreed with the management team. This position is a consultant engineer / owner’s engineer type role, and candidates must have a background in power generation & transmission.
Role:
132kV OHL engineer to produce tender documents for an OHL contractor to design / procure / install OHLs. The power to be transmitted is 1GW over a distance of around 50km across a desert type environment. Ongoing consultancy in an Owner’s Engineer type role reviewing Contractor proposals and then working with the Contractor during the EPC phase.
Job Details:
Weekly Hours: 20 hours (to be agreed)
Hourly Rate:£60p/h (Limited Company)
IR35 status: Expected to be outside IR35 – determination to be carried out.
Location: Surrey/Working from home
Contract duration: 12 months
