Education Recruitment Manager

This position is for an Education Recruitment Branch Manager for a Teacher recruitment agency in Birmingham.

This position attracts a basic salary up to £48,000+ commission

You will be working for an established Teacher Recruitment agency that already has several profitable branches across the UK and overseas.

The office is situated just outside the city centre however still close to main road and rail links.

Your role will be to take over an existing branch currently being overseen by Regional Manager.

You will inherit a loyal team of several recruiters and trainees with a head count to add further members to the team.

Along with your own ideas and thoughts you will have a very supportive business model to help guide you which has been tweaked, developed and modified over the years this is an agency the believes in realistic and practical KPI’s and targets.

Your branch will supply Teachers and support staff over a manageable and defined geographical area of the Wales and the surrounding areas.

You will supply into Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and SEN Schools/PRU’s with a particular emphasis on Long term and permanent placements, alongside the day to day supply.

To aid you with your branch and staff development you will have access to some excellent marketing material, an effective pay roll system insuring all candidates are paid promptly, compliance and back office support.

Your position as Manager will involve staff training and development, regular 1-to-1s, KPI setting and monitoring, business development, budget and fiscal forecasts.

As a Manager you will be expected to lead from the front, this is most effective by running a small desk in addition to your other responsibilities.

The chain of command is clear and unhindered as you will report to your Regional Manager who in turns reports directly to the MD.
