Salary: £26,000 per year
My client based in Enderby is looking to recruit a Team Leader for their International Centre of Education. The successful candidate will start with an initial Salary: £26,000 depending on experience plus bonus.
The Role
To supervise, guide and motivate a team of 2 coordinators to ensure a high level of customer service
Work closely with internal marketing and professional services departments to maximise every opportunity relating to education/events and exhibitions
Ensure all information is kept up to date
Handling customer and staff issues that arise within the department
Communicating and recording all costs associated with education and events whilst understanding our objectives in relation to cost
Responsibility for timely stock procurement relating to education/events
Work closely with other departments to communicate and promote events effectively
Work closely with Marketing towards the planning, coordination and execution of large national events and education
Ensure the successful delivery of all education and event commitments
The Person
A background in events management would be ideal
Ability to motivate self and team
Ability to prioritise departmental workload including effective delegation
High levels of integrity, initiative and focus
Confidence to produce and promote a strategy for the promotion of education and events
Able to communicate with people at all levels
Good organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
Strong Microsoft Office experience
