Salary: £26,000 – £35,334 per year
Belmont Recruitment are currently in search of an Eating Disorder Healthcare Coordinator to join the Eating Disorders Service (EDS) based out of either Haringey in Greater North London. The role is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however there is scope for flexibility so applicants who cannot work full time are still encouraged to apply, this is initially on an ongoing locum however this will most likely be made permanent.
You will provide a high quality comprehensive secretarial and administrative service ensuring the effective and efficient running of the Team, while working under pressure with competing demands. Part of the role requires interaction with clients & carers and you will be required to develop a level of understanding of mental health/eating disorder issues, a caring and calm nature and excellent communication skills. Exposure to crisis calls is routine. You should have qualifications in business administration or secretarial services or equivalent. You will have extensive experience within secretarial service and advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office packages is essential. You will possess excellent skills in organisation, minute-taking, numeracy, audio and keyboard and be proficient in the working of email, spreadsheets and develop and maintain databases. You will also have the ability to work as a member of a team or on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You will be expected to attend in-house training opportunities for personal development and ongoing learning. Reasonable knowledge of the Healthcare sector is desirable and knowledge of medical terminology and/or previous experience of working in a health care setting will be advantageous.
The Salary: for this locum role is between £26,000 – £35,334per year dependant on experience, however this is open for negotiation for someone with years of experience.
