Job Title:Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £26,000per year depending on experience

Location:Guildford

Hours:40 hour per week.

The Role

To work as a co-operative member of our nursery team, demonstrating initiative and creativity to foster an environment, which is rich in learning opportunities and offers an exceptional standard of care.

Key Duties

* Demonstrate a good understanding of child development and knowledge of the EYFS.

* Plan and deliver effective and inspiring activities which prepare the child for their next steps and for school.

* Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of the children

* Work in partnership with colleagues, parents/carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.

* Make accurate and effective use of observation and assessment to reflect the interests and needs of the children during each stage of their development.

* Carry out all responsibilities related to the key person role; building relationships with a small group of children and their families in accordance with the EYFS.

* Take responsibility for the planning and maintenance of a continuous learning classroom environment

Experience and Qualifications

* Level 3 early years qualification

* Some on the job work experience would be ideal
