E-Commerce Telesales Executive

The Role
Our client is after an E-commerce Telesales executive where the successful candidate will be prospecting new and existing data of customers and where applicable self-sourced leads with a view to gaining new contracts with appropriate clients.
Duties will include:
Working the process from start to finish, this is defined from first point of contact with the customer, through to signing of the contract until the customer is trading. Then after sales care that cannot be covered by the Customer Service department.
Identify opportunities, produce with the emphasis on high quality leads.
Develop creative pitches and propositions aimed at specific industry sectors.
Proactively follow up leads received and generated.
Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database.
Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business.
Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives.
Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines.
Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Achieve targets on agreed KPIs, including number of contracts, contracts signed and parcel volumes.
Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practise Ideas.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
Computer literate/keyboard skills.
At least 1-2 years working within a sales environment (Proactive telemarketing role within the logistics/e-commerce industry preferred)
Excellent telephone skills.
High degree accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise issues.
Ability to build strong working relationships (Internal/external)
Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation.
