Driver / Installer

Salary: £26,000 per year

Furniture Installer/ Driver 3.5T Van / Burton on Trent /12 week Temp2Perm

Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5pm, Saturdays (if worked) are paid at overtime rate

Salary: £26,000per year + Holiday pay whilst temporary, paid weekly

Permanent contract you will be salaried to £21,840 ( job and knock) + Pension, 28 days paid holidays, Yearly profit share PPE & uniform provided

Driver Installer Job details

Start time dependant on delivery locations will be anything from 05.30 to 07.30am

Picking the goods from warehouse from picking sheet

Loading and unloading furniture onto vehicle, (there will be 99% of the time a 2 man team)

Local work and as far as Newcastle

Could be heavy lifting or sometimes its just a coffee table, microwave etc ( 2 man team available)

Unloading furniture and entering premises, this could be residential, commercial or storage

Installation of furniture including white goods, plugging in fridge, washing machine, fridge etc so it would be a huge advantage if you are knowledgeable with electrics or plumbing however not essential

You will be customer facing and maybe entering buildings with vulnerable adults/children so an enhanced CRB will be required eventually

Driving licence again is essential with a minimum of 6 points (driving can be shared with buddy) 3.5T Van

The company will pay and support you for your 18th Edition electrical certification as well as domestic installation certification

Uniform will be provide and safety boots
