Domestic Gas Engineer

Salary: £40,800 – £48,000 per year

After a strong period of continuous growth my client, a domestic gas manufacturer, is looking at expanding their team of 25 Engineers on a full time permanent basis reporting into the Service Manager for the region.

As a Domestic Gas Engineer you will be:-

• Attend site for service, maintenance and repair to a variety of domestic gas boiler systems
• 60% bias to warranty work. The remainder will be contract and out of contract repairs
• Working with combi boilers, system boilers, heat only boilers etc.
• Covering Southampton and Portsmouth areas
• 1 Saturday per month

Skills Needed:-

• Proven experience with domestic gas boilers is essential
• Experience working on for a domestic gas manufacturer would be highly advantageous
• Proven experience in diagnostic and repair work
• LPG or equivalent domestic gas certificates is essential for this role.
• Will be ideally situated near Portsmouth/Southampton areas

Benefits

• £40,800 – £48,000base salary pay
• Lunch allowance of £4 per day paid monthly and tax free
• Van, phone, no call out however 1 Saturday per month is required, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Bonus paid on first time fix rates of £200-400 per month
