Distribution / Warehouse Operative

The Company are a refinery in Harwich.

They are looking to hire an Operative to work in their dispatch department.

The Role will mainly involve loading and unloading chemicals to and from road tankers and train tankers.

You will be in charge of completing some basic paperwork, changing filters on the pumps when needed, operating valves and hoses, and other ad-hoc duties around the plant & warehouse.

You will ideally have worked in a similar role in the past in a safety-critical environment and have some basic mechanical knowledge of hoses, valves and pumps. You will be a good communicator, be fairly fit (as the role can be quite physically strenuous) and always be conscious of working safely.

There is some basic computer work in the role so you will need to have worked with computers in the past.
