Warehouse Distribution Centre Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a growing, multi-national high value product distribution business, operating as a Warehouse Distribution Centre Manager, delivering the highest quality products to a prestigious client base.

The role:
• Optimising Distribution Centre performance through effective leadership
• Accountable for driving high performance service and efficiency levels
• Delivering pre-determined KPI’s and SLA targets.
• Leading, motivating, coaching and developing team members and implementing string succession plan
• Delivering ‘same day ship’ performance
• Embed the strategic plan to ensure effective Supply Chain support to the business
• Managing 5 Shift Managers with span of control up to 250 colleagues in 250k sq foot DC

To succeed in this challenging, people focused business, you will have:
• Extensive experience in coaching and motivating teams in an large Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
• Demonstrable success in leading teams in DC environment
• Full understanding of end to end DC processes
• Experience in high value product distribution
• Excellent engaging interpersonal skills
