An ambitious Senior DevOps Engineer is required by a technology company based in Swindon but offering fully remote work. Due to planned expansion the company are looking to hire an experienced Engineer to join their existing DevOps team working in a highly technical but relaxed environment.
This is a varied role working on server configuration and security, C.I processes, problem diagnosis and database integrations. This means the successful Senior DevOps Engineer should have experience monitoring SaaS systems running in the cloud. They may be from a System Administration background and must have strong experience working with AWS, in particular migrating systems to AWS is highly desirable.
Essential experience
AWS
Linux i.e. Debian, CentOS
Scripting with Python & Bash
Networking
MySQL, MariaDB Any experience in the following is not essential but would be advantageous.
Experience migrating systems to AWS
JIRA
PHP
GitYou will be joining a team working on greenfield projects where the team are migrating their systems to a AWS cloud based solution with real opportunity for growth and progression.
