We are seeking an experienced and visionary Device Team Leader to guide the development of our next-generation infrared quantum dot photodetectors. What’s Your Role?

  • Strategic Leadership: Build and manage a team of dedicated scientists, focusing on short-wave infrared QD photodetector technology.
  • Innovative Development: Lead the design, fabrication, and testing of cutting-edge devices using nanoparticles and QDs. Implement and maintain high-standard fabrication processes and testing equipment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our sensing materials R&D teams and Group IP Manager, ensuring seamless interdepartmental integration. Regularly update the CTO and engage with customers and external stakeholders.
  • IP and Idea Generation: Support the creation of intellectual property and contribute actively with innovative ideas.

Who Are You?

  • A Ph.D. holder in Physics, Engineering, or Materials Science.
  • At least 2 years of postdoctoral or industrial experience in QD semiconductor devices, preferably managing a device fabrication lab.
  • Expertise in device engineering and maintenance of fabrication equipment.
  • A strong leader with excellent communication skills, capable of coaching and managing a diverse technical team.
  • A proactive, self-starter, skilled in problem-solving and prioritisation.
